Description
The Rectory, located on Church Lane in North Ockendon, is a building dating from after 1750. It features a south front that is three storeys high, constructed of brown brick with red dressings. The façade includes five sash windows with cased frames, decorative bands, and brick eaves, topped by a modern slate roof. The central entrance door is adorned with a pediment supported by brackets. On the west side, there is a 19th-century two-storey canted brick bay with sash windows on each face. The ground floor windows have scalloped arches. The building has gabled ends and a wing to the north that dates from the 18th century and later, which includes the main entrance. There have been various alterations made to the structure over time.
