Description
The remains of the South Bridge across the Eltham Palace Moat date back to the 16th century. This ruined bridge features three bays and is supported by square brick piers set on a stone foundation. The inner face of the south abutment displays four-centred arches, extending across to the south pier, which may have been rebuilt at some point.
