Description

The Royal Naval College features two identical stone fountains located in the grounds to the west of King Charles' and King William's Quarters. These fountains date from the 18th century and are set on vermiculate square plinths, each adorned with masks on the sides that support a raised round bowl. Above the bowls, there are shafts with four projecting gargoyles. Each fountain is topped with an iron cap, which is likely a later addition, that includes three stepped lampholders.
