Description
The Manor House is an early to mid-18th century house located on Park Vista. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows, although the centre window on the first floor is blocked. The house has a hipped, tiled roof that is broken in the centre to accommodate a renewed weatherboarded gazebo topped with a pyramidal, tiled roof. The eaves cornice is moulded and has modillions. The building is constructed of soft red brick, accented with brighter red brick dressings, including quoins, a first-floor band, window jambs, and gauged flat arches. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, were renewed in the early 19th century and are set in original flush, moulded frames. The entrance features a renewed glazed door with a cornice head and a rectangular fanlight, all framed by a moulded architrave under a cornice hood supported by curved brackets.
