Description
This is a two-storey building, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, situated at the rear of numbers 93 and 95 on Eltham High Street. It has five windows of irregular placement. The steeply pitched tiled roof is notable for a group of three diagonal chimney shafts linked by a cornice on a square base. The front facade is of red brick, with some diaper work of blue headers remaining, and features pilasters defining the outer bays. A first-floor band runs over the pilasters. Most windows are 19th-century casements, though one or two retain older, flush frames. One window has been blocked. The rear elevation is similar, but with additional buttresses resting on the first-floor band. The brickwork of the first floor appears to be from the 18th century, while the ground floor looks much older. Internally, there is one chamfered heavy beam and one plain beam. A roof truss is concealed, but braces are supported on small pilasters with moulded capitals.
