Description
This is a late 17th or early 18th century house on Eltham High Street, originally with three windows and now two storeys and an attic. The roof is a mansard style, gently curved and half-hipped to the right, and has been renewed with pantiles. Two modern square dormers have been added. The west end is weatherboarded, and the front is painted brick with a parapet and a cornice band. The windows have modern casements within near-flush box frames, and arched brick surrounds. The ground floor has an early to mid-19th century shop front. The main windows have been altered with plate glass, but the original bowed fascia board, with a modillion cornice and curved brackets, remains. Narrow reeded pilasters frame the doors at the centre and right. The door on the right has six panels, and the centre door has engraved glass.
