Description

An early 19th century row of cottages, numbered 27 to 33, stands on the east side of Gentleman’s Row. The row comprises twelve cottages, each two storeys and two windows in width. They have low-pitched slate roofs. The exterior is constructed of stock brick with gauged flat arches over sash windows with glazing bars. Every other first-floor window and the windows above the doors have been blocked. Elliptical, gauged brick arches feature over the doorways, although all but the doorway of number 31 have been modernised. Numbers 1 to 33 (odd), along with their associated walls, railings, and a coach house, form a group.
