Description

Sedgecrop is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed house that has a later front. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows. The house is topped with a high-pitched tiled roof that includes two dormers. The early 18th century front is made of dark red brick, with renewed window arches. The windows are 18th century sash types with glazing bars set in exposed moulded frames. The entrance has a doorcase supported by fluted pilasters and an entablature. Sedgecrop is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd), along with all mentioned walls and railings and The Coach House.
