Description
This is a circa 1876 house located on Woodstock Road. The design is attributed to E W Godwin, with later modifications by W Wilson. The house is constructed of yellow and red brick, with sections finished in tile hanging, and has a tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with a further storey within the roof space. A single-storey bay window projects from the ground floor, with two sash windows above, and two more in the gable. A three-storey, tile-hung, gabled bay is present on the side elevation. The main entrance is situated on the side. A corner brick pier marks the front garden. The house was at one time occupied by Hamilton Jackson.
