Description

This is a house, dating circa 1876, designed by E W Godwin and later adapted by W Wilson. It is constructed of yellow and red brick, with parts of the exterior tile hung, and has a tiled roof. The house is three storeys high, with a further storey in the roof. A single-storey brick bay window projects from the ground floor, above which are two sash windows. Two more sash windows are located in the gable. A three-storey gable, tile-hung, is visible on the side elevation. The entrance has been altered. A lower, flat-roofed rear wing is present, featuring a coved cornice. The house was formerly the home of Professor A M Low.
