Description

The houses at 27 and 29 Woodstock Road date from around 1880 and were designed by R.N. Shaw, representing a variation on his third semi-detached house design. They are constructed of red and yellow brick with tiled roofs. The houses are two storeys high with attics, and feature door hoods. Large bay windows are prominent on the ground floor. A coved eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, and gabled dormers are set into the roof. A central chimney stack is present. A low brick wall and wooden fence delineate the boundary at No. 29.
