Description
Pine Cottage and Thorpe Cottage are a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1820. They are constructed from purple brick and feature a central rendered pilaster strip. The houses have a slated, hipped roof with a central chimney stack and rise to three storeys, each with one window. The round-arched doorways have fanlights, with Pine Cottage retaining its original fanlight, and both houses have panelled doors. The windows are tripartite sashes with gauged yellow brick flat arches above them. The interiors of the houses preserve original features, with Pine Cottage showcasing pine panelling.
