Description

The listing describes forecourt piers, gates, and railings dating from 1932 to 1935, originally positioned on the central axis of the Hoover Factory. The arrangement comprises four concrete piers, which are moulded and battered, arranged in a semicircular form. The central pair of piers are surmounted by original lights. Metal railings and gates are positioned between the piers, featuring decorative diagonal bars. The railings and gates were conceived as an integral part of the design for the main building.
