Description

The building at 17 Canning Road is the former Vicarage to the Church of St Mary Magdalene, dating to 1870 and designed by E B Lamb. It is a large two-storey building with a basement and garrets, constructed of rubble with squared stone dressings. The design incorporates three stepped bays and a diverse arrangement of window forms, featuring a prominent projecting porch in the right-hand bay. The roof is tiled. The building is set within a group with the adjacent Church of St Mary Magdalene.
