Description

Nos 13 and 13A on Crown Hill are 17th-century timber-framed buildings. They stand two storeys tall, with the front facing Bell Hill featuring a rendered ground floor that has a central doorway flanked by windows. The upper storey juts out, with three window openings that contain 6-pane double-hung sashes. This upper level is faced with red mathematical tiles and ends in a parapet.

The front facing Crown Hill also has two storeys, but the ground floor has modern shop fronts. The upper floor is partly weather-boarded on No 13 and partly rendered on No 13A. At the time of listing, the buildings were in poor condition.
