Description
The Chequers Public House is a building located on Southborough Lane in Bromley, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Originally, it consisted of two cottages. The left side of the building is from the 18th century and features two storeys with weatherboarding, two casement windows, and a tiled roof. There is a flat wooden hood with brackets over the entrance door. The right side, built in the 19th century, is of a higher elevation and constructed of brick. It includes two 19th-century casement windows and a later ground floor bay, also topped with a tiled roof.
