Description

Turpington Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed house with a half H plan and a pink colour-washed plastered front. It features a tiled roof and casement windows, standing two storeys tall with six windows in total. The easternmost window bay projects, with its first floor overhanging on brackets and topped by a gable. There is also an oriel window on the first floor with a gablet above it. At the west end, there is a similar projection with a gable and a modern Venetian window on the first floor. A small projection is located in the west angle, and there is a porch in the eastern angle. A brick chimney breast is present on the east wall.
