Description
Nos 57 and 59 on Bexley High Street are early 18th century or possibly late 17th century buildings made of red brick. They are two storeys tall with an attic and feature a projecting centre that has a window above the entrance, which is topped by a hipped roof. The doorway includes a rectangular fanlight and a flat hood supported by cut brackets. There is one window on each side of the entrance, with flush-framed sashes that have 19th century glazing bars. The buildings have a brick plinth, a bandcourse, and plain wooden eaves. The hipped roof is tiled and includes early 19th century dormers. At the rear, there are extensions that are partly weatherboarded.
