Description
5 and 7 Wildwood Road are a pair of houses built in 1912, designed by Sutcliffe, located in Hampstead Garden Suburb. The houses are connected by a garden wall and garages and are symmetrically arranged around a central gate that leads to a garage court, with entrances on the outer sides. The elevations feature prominent gables with hipped peaks and stacks at the outer corners, while the outside return showcases two-span gables. Each house has a half-timbered porch on the upper floor wing at the rear. This pair is identical to the nearby houses at 9 and 11 Wildwood Road and, along with the other houses numbered 1 to 15, forms an excellent architectural group.
