Description

Monkenholt is a late 18th century rendered brick house located on Hadley Green Road in Monken Hadley. The building features a hipped slate roof and stands three storeys tall, with five sash windows that include glazing bars. A large ground floor bay has three light sash windows and a balcony railing above, which is a later alteration. The central entrance has a panelled door set within a semi-circular head. There is also a later bay added to the right side of the house. The property has end stacks and is enclosed by spearhead wrought iron railings and a gate, which includes an overthrow and lantern.
