Description

Fairholt is a building dating from around 1750, located on Hadley Green Road in Monken Hadley. The exterior is rendered and features a first-floor platband, a moulded brick cornice, and a parapet with a low central pediment. The building stands three storeys high and has five windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. The central three windows, located under the pediment, are set slightly forward. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented Doric doorcase that contains a six-panel door with raised and fielded panels, along with an intersecting fanlight. The roof is not visible behind the parapet.
