Description

Hadley Cote is a late 18th-century cottage that has been significantly altered in the 20th century. The exterior is rendered and the building stands two storeys high with two windows featuring modern tripartite sashes. There is a central panelled door with a plain surround and a blank window above it. The roof is slate. At the rear, there is an older parallel range that likely dates from the 17th century, which is part of the same building as The Old Cottage. Hadley Cote is noted for this older range and for its group value with the front section.
