Description

Ossulston House is a mid-18th century building located on Hadley Green Road in Monken Hadley. It is constructed of red brick and features projecting stringcourses along with a slate roof. The house has three storeys and a basement, with three widely spaced windows. The central entrance is a semi-circular headed doorway adorned with stucco rustications, featuring a six-panel door that includes two glazed panels and a fanlight above. There are steps leading up to the door, and some iron railings are present. The building also has a wood modillion eaves cornice and brick end stacks. Ossulston House was the home of the Earls of Tankerville.
