Description
30 and 32 Temple Fortune Hill are artisans' cottages built in 1908-1909 by architects Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. These cottages are identical in design and materials to Nos. 14 and 16, and they have some relationship with Nos. 33 and 35 located opposite. They form a group with Nos. 1-35 (odd) and 2-36 (even) Temple Fortune Hill, which is an important part of the original artisans' quarter as planned by Unwin. The design emphasizes a coherent streetscape made up of distinct types of buildings, similar to the approach taken on Asmuns Hill.
