The Coal Duty Boundary Post, located outside numbers 98 and 100 on the west side of Dagenham Road in Rush Green, dates from the mid-19th century. This cast iron post is square and features ornamental design elements. It is inscribed with the coat of arms of the City of London and the heading of the Coal Duty Act, which was established following the Act of 1861.
