Description
The Dean's Residence at Queen's Chapel is the remaining south wing of the chapel, designed by Inigo Jones around 1626-1627. It was altered with an addition to the first floor, likely in the late 17th century or early 18th century. The building is constructed of brick that has been rendered to resemble stone, featuring rusticated stone quoins similar to those on the chapel. It is two storeys high and two windows wide. To the right, there is an architraved doorcase topped with a cornice. The ground floor windows have eared architraves with tripled keystones, while the first floor windows are corniced. There is a sill course at the first floor level, along with a cornice and blocking course. The property is enclosed by cast iron area railings.
