Description

There are seven lamp standards along the north front of St. James's Palace, dating from around 1820 to 1830. These lamp standards are made of cast iron and feature reeded octagonal bases and octagonal shafts, with single ladder bases and Windsor lanterns. They also display ciphers of George IV. This installation is part of the St. James's Palace precinct.
