TQ 2679 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER EXHIBITION ROAD, SW7 TQ 2679 NE (East side) 94/7 85/7 3.12.86 Nos 44 to 48 (consec) Princes Gate. GV II Grand terrace of houses. Mid C19. Stucco. Roof not visible. Four storeys plus attic and basement. Each house three windows wide. Projecting Doric porches. (Entrance to No 48 in grand return to right). Channelling to ground floors. Rusticated quoins. First floor windows square headed beneath entablature with Ionic half columns between balustraded balcony. Second floor windows united by entablature and central pediment to each house, with round headed windows beneath. Third floor windows segmental headed. Corinthian half columns between windows. Very rich modillion cornice. Arched attic windows. Subsidiary cornice. Sashes. Plate glass. Cast iron area railings.
