Description

The Statue of General Sir Charles Napier is a memorial statue located in Trafalgar Square, Westminster. It was created in 1855 by G. G. Adams and is made of bronze mounted on a granite pedestal. The statue depicts Sir Charles Napier in the uniform of the "Hero of Sind," who served as Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army for the East India Company. This statue was funded by subscriptions from private soldiers who had served under Napier in India, and it replaces one of Barry's bollards.
