Description
The Statue of General Sir Henry Havelock is a memorial statue located in Trafalgar Square, Westminster. It was created in 1861 by the sculptor W. Behnes and is made of bronze mounted on a granite pedestal. The statue depicts General Sir Henry Havelock in uniform, commemorating his role as a hero of the Indian Mutiny and the siege and relief of Lucknow. This statue replaced one of the bollards designed by architect Sir Charles Barry.
