Description

No. 74 New Bond Street is a commercial building dating from around 1900. It features a façade made of Bath stone in a free late Gothic style and has a slate roof. The structure has five storeys, including an attic within a gable. The ground and first floors are framed by a large ogee arch, although the shop front has been modernised in the later 20th century, with a display window on the first floor. The upper floors are divided into two bays, each with arched recesses that contain mullioned and transomed windows. There is carved decoration on the apron panels and arches. The overall design culminates in a shaped gable that includes a lunette.
