Description
No. 9 Conduit Street is a terraced town house built in 1779 by James Wyatt. The building is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. It stands four storeys tall with a basement and has three windows across its façade. The first and second floors are adorned with a giant order of Ionic pilasters, complemented by an enriched frieze and cornice, while the attic storey also has a cornice and blocking course. The ground floor is rusticated up to a plat band, and the entrance, located on the left, is flanked by Doric columns with a fluted frieze and mutule cornice, featuring arched openings. The first-floor windows are detailed with architraves and pediments. The interior has been altered.
