Description
A terrace of eight houses located on Cleveland Gardens, dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco, and extend over four storeys with an attic and basement. The end houses project slightly and are distinguished by rusticated quoins. Each house has two windows wide. The ground floor is characterised by channelling. Projecting porches with fluted Doric columns and panelled doors are present at the front. A balustraded balcony originally existed on the first floor, but is now missing from numbers 7 and 8. The windows are architraved above the ground floor and corniced on the first and second floors. A Greek key frieze is positioned above the first floor, and a guilloched frieze above the second floor. A cornice sits above the third floor, with a simpler subsidiary cornice to the attic.
