Description
Nos 14 and 15 Langham Place is an office block built around 1930 by Sir Herbert Baker and Scott. The building is constructed from Portland stone ashlar and features a hipped slated roof. It stands five storeys tall, with basements, an attic, and dormers. The façade includes six windows, with three additional windows returning to Cavendish Place. The ground and first floors are rusticated, and the building has quoins. A cornice is present, with the attic storey set back behind a balustraded parapet. There is a string course at the first floor level. The second-floor windows are recessed and have architraves, while the first-floor windows feature rusticated voussoirs. The ground floor has recessed round-arched windows with cartouche keys, and there are square-headed recessed doorways with voussoirs. This block continues the scale and style of the rebuilding of Regent Street.
