Description
No. 80 Brewer Street is a terrace house built in the 1690s. It features painted brickwork and a slate roof, rising three storeys with a dormered attic. The façade is three windows wide, with a mid-19th century shop front that has a consoled fascia. The building has three nearly flush framed sash windows without glazing bars, set beneath flat gauged arches. At the top, there is a parapet with coping. Inside, original features include a staircase with moulded strings and turned balusters, as well as a box cornice in the front first-floor room. The house shares a semicircular rainwater head, which is possibly from the late 18th century, with No. 82.
