Description

The Wellington Monument is a monument unveiled in 1888, designed by Sir Edward Boehm. It features a bronze equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington, which is set on a granite pedestal. Surrounding the pedestal are bronze figures of soldiers positioned at each of the four corners.
