Description

There are two parish boundary markers located adjacent to Clapham Mansions on Nightingale Lane in Battersea. These markers are made of cast iron and are elliptical in shape. They were most likely installed in 1874 and feature the legend 'Battersea'. The markers are positioned at several locations: south of the junction of Clapham Common North Side and Wix's Lane, north of the Bandstand, east of the Bandstand, on the south side of Windmill Drive, northeast of The Avenue, southwest side of The Avenue, and adjacent to number 11 Nightingale Lane.
