Description
The forecourt wall, railings, gates, and piers serving numbers 30, 31, and 32 on the north side of Clapham Common date from the early 19th century and are constructed of stock brick, although they have been much repaired over time. The wall features buttresses at regular intervals, a diagonal brick cornice, and a stone coping. The open panels are fitted with wrought iron railings, most of which have been replaced. Decorative wrought iron gates are hung from broad brick piers. This structure is included for its group value with the adjacent buildings.
