Description
Maitland House, likely dating to circa 1792, is an altered building originally part of a pair. It is a three-storey and basement structure with three windows across the facade. The exterior is stuccoed and the roof is slate. A segmental flight of steps leads to an advanced entrance bay with a round-arched door and fanlight above. A pair of Doric columns support a segmental bow window on the first floor, which is itself lit by a tripartite sash window. The building features a cornice and blocking course, with the cornice breaking over the entrance bay.
