Description

The table tomb to Stratford Canning, dating from 1787, is designed in a Neo-Classical style. It is made of stone and features a plinth that supports half-columns on either side of a plaque inscribed with the names of Canning and his wife, Mehetabel. The tomb is topped with a pyramidal cap that has a vase finial.
