Description
Mansbridge House is an early 19th century symmetrical three-bay stucco house with two storeys and a basement. The two side bays are slightly advanced, featuring channelled rustication on the ground floor, with each window set in a cambered arch. The central bay contains a door that is deeply recessed behind a basket arch, which is framed by an Adal motif of freestanding Doric columns in antis supporting an architrave. A cill band is present at the first floor, and the main cornice supports a blocking course. There are later extensions added to both the left and right sides of the house.
