Description

No 799 on Commercial Road E14 is an early 18th-century building with a rendered facade featuring a heavy eaves cornice and a blocking course. It has a mansard slate roof and flanking pilasters on the first floor. The building is two storeys tall with dormers; the central dormer has a pediment while the outer dormers have segmental heads. There are three windows, with the first-floor windows adorned with stucco architraves. A later shop front extends over No 801. Nos 795 to 805 (odd) and the Star of the East Public House create a group with the lamp standards in front of the Star of the East Public House.
