Description

This is a probably early 18th century building, later refronted in the 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick with a parapet, slated attic, and extends to three storeys. The building has four windows and three entrances, one of which is arched, featuring a patterned fanlight. It forms a group with numbers 1 to 39 (odd), numbers 2 to 20 (even), and number 84 (The Ten Bells Public House) on the same side of Fournier Street, along with Christ Church, Commercial Street, numbers 57 and 59 Brick Lane, and number 2 Wilkes Street.
