Description

No 8 and the area railings on Beccle Street date from the early 19th century. Originally built as two houses, they have since been combined into one. The building is constructed of stock brick and features a coped parapet. It stands three storeys tall with basements and has four windows. The door of one house has been replaced by an additional window. The south side has sash windows, while the north side features French casements. The entrance includes a round-headed, recessed six-panelled door with a fanlight above. The area railings are adorned with spearhead and urn finials.
