Description
The Tomb of Ellen Wiskin is a funerary monument located in Tower Hamlets Cemetery, commemorating Ellen Wiskin, who died in 1866. It is made of Portland stone and features a tall tapering pedestal with a pediment and acroteria on a two-stage base, topped with a draped urn. Surrounding the tomb are elaborate cast-iron railings adorned with crossed arrows and flambeau finials, set on a York stone base. This tomb is part of a group of prominent memorials situated close to the entrance of the cemetery.
