Description
Nos 44 to 52 on Coborn Road, built in the early 19th century, are two-storey buildings made of yellow stock brick. They feature a stucco eaves cornice, band, and blocking course, along with a low-pitched gabled slate roof. A stucco band runs along the first floor sill height, except for No 44. Each building has two windows, with sash windows that include glazing bars, except for the ground floor windows of Nos 48 and 52. The ground floor of No 44 has a shop front from the early to mid-19th century, which includes fluted pilasters, although a modern fascia board obscures the upper portion. The windows have pierced iron ventilators, and all doorways are round-headed with fluted pilasters. Nos 40 to 52 form a group.
