Description
The former West Entrance Gate to the West India Docks dates from the early 19th century. It features stock brick curved wing walls and gatepiers made of Portland stone. The entrance is currently blocked by a modern brick wall. Additionally, there are two cast-iron bollards designed in an obelisk pattern, each inscribed with "WIDC," which stands for West India Dock Company.
