Description
There are four posts located along Bankside in Southwark. The first post is on the south side, west of Southwark Bridge, and east and north of Rose Alley. The second post is a genuine canon situated on the south side of Bankside, at the north-west corner of Bear Gardens. The third post is on the north side of Bankside, opposite the north-east corner of New Globe Walk (formerly Emerson Street), and is inscribed with 'Clink Liberty 1839'. The fourth post is also on the north side of Bankside, opposite the north-west corner of New Globe Walk (formerly Emerson Street), and is inscribed with 'Clink 1826'.
