Description
4, 5 and 6 Canal Grove is a terrace of three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from multi-coloured stock brick with a stuccoed ground floor and feature a pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves. Each house has two storeys and two bays, with one window on the first floor. There are steps leading up to recessed doors that have an architrave and a cornice supported by console brackets. The windows are sash style with glazing bars; the ground floor windows are tripartite and have modified pilasters and an entablature, while the first floor windows have gauged, slightly cambered brick arches and a stucco sill band. The interior has not been inspected. The houses at numbers 2 to 9 Canal Grove form a group with these properties.
