Description
Numbers 30-44 form a terrace of fifteen houses built between 1824 and 1832 in Southwark. The houses are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick with slate mansard roofs, except for numbers 46 and 47, which lack dormers. They feature a stucco cornice and blocking course. Each house is three storeys high, with an attic and basement, and has two bays, though the ground floor has three openings. The ground floor is stuccoed and rusticated, with bands forming voussoirs around the segmental-arched openings. The front doors have panelled pilasters, cornice heads, and fanlights, with a decorative fanlight to number 42. An entrance to number 44 is located on the return. The sash windows have glazing bars; those on the first floor have stucco architraves, friezes, and cornices, while those on the second floor have stucco architraves. A stucco sill band runs along the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. The property includes cast-iron area railings with spearhead standards. The listed buildings in Trinity Church Square are considered to form a group and hold group value.
